Covid-19 Vaccination Clinics

The clinics below are for all doses of the vaccine and will be Pfizer.  They are open to everyone via the National Booking System, by calling 119 or calling the Surgery.  Those aged 12-15, or needing a booster after a 3^rd primary dose are currently unable to book with us on the National Booking System and will need to use the NHS app or call the surgery. 3^rd primary doses must have a supporting medical letter.

Free, but limited, parking – please park in the village and walk to the surgery at busy times.

Patients can be registered at ANY practice.

PLEASE NOTE: if you arrive at your appointment and are not eligible, you will not be given a vaccination, and will be asked to rebook.

You will also not be able to have a vaccine if you are aged 18+ and had covid in the last 28 days, or aged 12-17 and had covid in the last 12 weeks.

Monday 31 January – 17:00-19:00 *Walk-in Clinic*

Firsts: To be eligible you must be aged 12+.

Seconds: To be eligible you must be aged 12-17 and had your first vaccine on or before 01 November 2021, or aged 18+ and had your first vaccine on or before 06 December 2021.

Boosters: To be eligible you must be aged 18+ (or in a vulnerable category) and have had your second covid vaccination on or before 01 November 2021.

Saturday 05 February – 09:00-13:00 *Pre-booked Appointments Only*

Firsts: To be eligible you must be aged 12+.

Seconds: To be eligible you must be aged 12-17 and had your first vaccine on or before 13 November 2021, or aged 18+ and had your first vaccine on or before 11 December 2021.

Boosters: To be eligible you must be aged 18+ (or in a vulnerable category) and have had your second covid vaccination on or before 06 November 2021.

Saturday 19 February – 09:00-13:00 *Pre-booked Appointments Only*

Firsts: To be eligible you must be aged 12+.

Seconds: To be eligible you must be aged 12-17 and had your first vaccine on or before 27 November 2021, or aged 18+ and had your first vaccine on or before 25 December 2021.

Boosters: To be eligible you must be aged 18+ (or in a vulnerable category) and have had your second covid vaccination on or before 20 November 2021.

Saturday 05 March – 09:00-13:00 *Pre-booked Appointments Only*

Firsts: To be eligible you must be aged 12+.

Seconds: To be eligible you must be aged 12-17 and had your first vaccine on or before 11 December 2021, or aged 18+ and had your first vaccine on or before 08 January 2022.

Boosters: To be eligible you must be aged 18+ (or in a vulnerable category) and have had your second covid vaccination on or before 04 December 2021.

Saturday 19 March – 08:00-18:00 *Pre-booked Appointments Only*

Firsts: To be eligible you must be aged 12+.

Seconds: To be eligible you must be aged 12-17 and had your first vaccine on or before 25 December 2021, or aged 18+ and had your first vaccine on or before 22 January 2022.

Boosters: To be eligible you must be aged 18+ (or in a vulnerable category) and have had your second covid vaccination on or before 18 December 2021.

Dear Patients,

We are now inviting eligible patients for their Covid-19 booster vaccinations.

Those eligible are:

• Those living in residential care homes for older adults
• All adults aged 40 years or over
• Frontline health and social care workers
• All those aged 16-49 with underlying health conditions that put them at higher risk of severe Covid-19 (as set out in the green book), and adult carers.
• Adult household contacts (aged 16 or over) of immuno suppressed individuals.

There must be a gap of 182 days from the date of your second vaccination to the date you receive your booster.

The vaccine we are offering is Pfizer-BioNTech. If you are unable to have this vaccine type, you can book a Moderna booster vaccine at a vaccination centre here.

Invitations will come in the form of phone calls and text messages from the staff at the Surgery.

There is currently no recommendation of a third vaccine for anyone not in the above groups, but if this information changes, we will be contacting those affected to offer them an appointment.
