NHS Sussex-Need medical care in west sussex

Urgent care services provide medical help when it’s not a life-threatening emergency.

Some services are standalone and some are located at hospitals, next to A&E. You don’t need an appointment but NHS 111 can book you an arrival time and let the service know you are coming.

They treat adults and children over the age of one for a range of minor illness and injury such as sprains and strains, injuries, cuts and bruises, stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhoea, high temperature in children and adults and mental health concerns. Some services also have x-ray facilities and can diagnose and treat broken bones.
