Autumn Booster Campaign 2024
Patients eligible for an autumn Covid booster:
- Residents in care homes for older adults
- All adults aged 65 years and over
- People aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group.
- Frontline health and social care workers and staff working in care homes for older adults.
Patients eligible for the flu include:
- Patients in long stay residential care homes
- Patients aged 65 years and over
- Those aged 6 months to under 65 years in a clinical at risk group
- Pregnant women
- Carers – in receipt of carers allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- Close contacts of immunosuppressed individuals
- Frontline health and social care staff
- Children aged 2 or 3 years on 31st August 2024
- Primary school children (reception to Year 6) and Secondary school children (Years 7-11) will be offered their vaccination as part of the School Immunisation Programme.
- Patients aged 50-64 years that are not in an at risk group are not currently eligible.
