Ordering repeat prescriptions

Please allow 4-5 clear working days for your request to be processed.

You can order a repeat prescription by:

• Completing the slip which came with your last prescription and which you can either drop the request to your surgery or the pharmacy you use
• Online using NHS App  Please click here for more information about the NHS APP 
• Completing a medication request form (attached below) either post back to us or put in the post box outside the surgery

Telephone requests are not accepted.

Urgent Requests

In exceptional circumstances that you need your prescription more urgently please complete a medication request form above and drop into the surgery and advise reception that the request is urgent.

We will endeavour to meet urgent requests the same day where possible

Current Prescription Charges

Prescription costs-NHS prescription charge will increase to £9.90 per prescription item on 1st may 24 (note: some items may incur more than one charge).

For prescriptions dispensed in April 2024, the NHS prescription charge will remain at £9.65.

• A prescription prepayment certificate (PPC) could save you money on NHS prescription costs:

  • New charge (1st May 2024 onwards)
    Single charge (per prescription item)	£9.90
    HRT PPC (valid for 12 months)	£19.80
    3-month PPC	£32.05
    12-month PPC	£114.50
